We are excited to announce that Kate Radwanski is this year’s recipient of the Maureen Travis Youth Award. Kate recently graduated from Bishop Ready High School as Salutatorian. She will be attending The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business to major in Marketing and will be part of the Arts Scholars program. 

Through her time volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul and other organizations like the Grove City Food Pantry, she realized her desire to spend her time helping others and working to create a better world. Kate hopes this award, “will allow me to get even more involved, and devote myself fully to my studies and volunteering without significant financial burden. I hope to be able to impact my community, as well as other areas across the globe, by continuing to get involved and contribute to creating a safer, cleaner, and better world.” 

Kate is the daughter of Kevin and Lisa Radwanski and the granddaughter of Frank and Carol Schmidt. Congratulations, Kate!
