Ash Wednesday

We’ll begin our Lenten Season with three opportunities for Mass and distribution of Ashes: 8:30 am, 12 noon, 7 pm. 

Our Ash Wednesday collection will benefit the Joint Organization for Inner-city Needs (JOIN), a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Columbus Diocese. All donations go directly to serving essential necessities. Learn more about JOIN here.

Adoration & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament    

Fridays

Come adore our Lord in the True Presence of the Eucharist! 

On each First Friday of the month, 24 hours of Eucharistic Exposition begins Friday at 9 am (after morning Mass) and ends Saturday morning at 9 am. On all other Fridays, we have 12 hours of Adoration and Exposition, from 9 am to 9 pm.

  • Friday, March 1 | 9 am to 9 am (24 hours) | we are a host parish for the Diocesan 40 Days of Adoration program
  • Fridays 9 am to 9 pm (12 hours) on February 16, 23, March 8, 15, and 22

Fish Fry    

Fridays of Lent | 4:30 – 7 pm

Join us in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Life Center for dinner including fried or baked fish, 2 sides (french fries, baked potato, green beans, coleslaw, or mac and cheese), drink, and dessert. We also have toasted cheese sandwiches. Dine in or carry out. Presented by the Knights of Columbus. Click below for more details! 


Stations of the Cross    

Fridays of Lent | 7 pm  

Join us as our clergy leads us in St. Faustina’s Way of the Cross every Friday during Lent. Adoration and Confessions begin at 7 pm, with the Stations at 7:30 pm. Benediction will conclude our evening at 8 pm.

Holy Week

Palm Sunday    

Mass Times:
Saturday, March 23 | 4 pm    Sunday, March 24 | 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm

At the Sunday 10:30 am Mass, we will begin with a procession from the front steps of the school to the Nave. 


Holy Thursday, March 28

Shadow Stations | 9:30 am and 1:30 pm

All are welcome to join Our Lady of Perpetual Help school in praying the Stations of the Cross through images of the stations depicted in shadow by our students.

Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper | 7 pm

This beautiful Mass will be followed by Adoration until midnight. Confessions will also be heard after Mass.    


Good Friday, March 29

Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion | 12 pm 

followed by Confessions until all are heard

Walking Stations of the Cross | 6 pm

Join us as we walk the Stations of the Cross through downtown Grove City! 


Holy Saturday, March 30

Easter Meal Basket Blessing | 12 pm

Bring a basket with the food for your Easter meal to be blessed!

Easter Egg Hunt | 12 pm

Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, this free event will take place on the church lawn immediately after the basket blessing. Open to all children 12 and under. Bring your favorite basket! 


Easter Vigil    

Saturday, March 30 | 8 pm

Join us for the “Mother of all Vigils” as we welcome our Candidates and Catecheumens into the Church and celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord!


Easter Sunday   

Sunday, March 31

Join us for Mass in the greatest celebration of the year as we rejoice in the Resurrection of Our Lord! Mass times at 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
