Fall Fest

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School 60th Anniversary Celebration | October 25, 2020

The Knights of Columbus and PTO have partnered to put on an amazing day of socially-distanced fun to celebrate the 60th Birthday of OLPH School! The day starts with a corn hole tournament at 3 pm followed by an OLPH family picnic at 5 pm (pick a spot and enjoy dinner – KOC will have food available for purchase) and the grand finale will be trunk or treat from 6:30-8:00pm.

All proceeds go toward the two (2) $500 scholarships and $500 to the STEM program which are sponsored by The Knights of Columbus yearly.

Corn Hole Tournament | 3 pm

The donation amount to sign up for as corn hole team is $30, or individuals can sign up for $20.  Since this is a charitable event, any donation above these amounts are greatly appreciated.  Please sign-up by Friday, October 23.

In spirit of the 60-year celebration, the first place winners will receive $60; second place 6.00, and third place $.60.

Please text Jeff Lutz at 614.705.9774 or sign up in the gathering space after the weekend masses.  Donations will be collected on the day of the tournament!

The corn hole tournament will be socially distanced, and even though it will be outside we encourage everyone to wear masks and bring extra hand sanitizer.

Family Picnic | 5 pm

All are welcome to join us for an Our Lady of Perpetual Help family picnic at 5 pm! This will be held behind the school, and The Knights of Columbus will have some food for sale (hot dog meals or donuts & coffee), proceeds of which go toward the scholarships to OLPH school. Or you may bring your own food!

Trunk or Treat | 6:30 – 8 pm

All families are welcome to join us for trunk or treat at 6:30 pm! In honor of 60 years we will have 60 trunks strategically placed behind the school. Come in costume and collect candy from our socially-distanced, decorated cars! Although this event will be outside, we encourage everyone to continue practicing Coronavirus precautions (social distance and wear masks covering your mouth and nose) as an extra precaution. There are plenty of creative ways to work a mask into your Halloween costume!

There will be a photo booth area set up and make-and-take crafts for the kids in the pavilion area.    We will also be doing a best dressed trunk contest and will ask the kids to turn in their votes!
