About this Event

Are you or your children interested in helping out at Mass as a lector, altar server, or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion? Join us at our training on Saturday, June 24! 

For those interested in becoming Lectors or Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, training begins at 9:30 am in the Nave. This training is also open to current volunteers in these areas who would like a refresher on proper procedures. Volunteers must have received all Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation), be registered members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, be in good standing with the Church, and be capable of performing the duties in a reverent manner. 

Training for those interested in becoming altar servers or in practicing their altar server skills begins at 10:30, and will finish at noon. Altar servers must be in third grade or above and have been baptized and received First Communion. Parents do not have to stay during the training session.
